Atami wreck

The sunken ship (Asahi 16) that sank off the coast of Atami Port was a ship sunk in 1986, and is a huge gravel carrier with a total length of 81 m and 5,000 tons. 34 years after sinking, soft corals have grown around the steel and are home to many fish.

The bottom of the water is 30m, and even the shallowest bow is 22m deep. Penetration, which is the real pleasure of wreck diving, is also possible, and you can enjoy the feeling of adventure.

 

Participation conditions:

Those who have a license of Advanced Open Water or higher

There should be no blanks for more than a year.

Nitrox certification is preferred. → About Nitrox

 

 

Price:

Per person per day (including 2 dives (boats), guides, tanks, facility use, taxes)

In the case of diving with normal air, the first dive is on the wreck, and the second is on other shallow point.

(It may not be possible to go to the wreck depending on the sea conditions)

A: For a day trip

Train: Meet at Atami Station with Kodama arriving at 8:43

Please come to Atami Station by 8:43 even if you come by local train.

Transfer to the dive center (free, exemption)

Car: 9:00 Meet at "Diving service Atami" → Google Maps

9:00 Fill out documents, briefing, equipment setting at the dive center

10:00 1st dive (10 minutes boat ride)

11:00 Return to the shop and take a break for an hour and a half

12:00 2nd dive (10 minutes boat ride)

13:00 Rince up equipment, shower, change clothes

Lunch and log at the cafeteria around 13:30

14:45 Send to Atami Station

There is "Kodama" bound for Tokyo from Atami Station every 30 minutes from 15:02 to 22:35.
