Boat Diving in Tago

In Tago, dives are conducted almost exclusively by boat.
You can enjoy vibrant underwater scenery with fields of soft corals and schools of anthias covering the reefs.

In addition, some sites inside the bay feature hard coral colonies, which are extremely rare in the Izu region.
The extensive Acropora (staghorn coral) fields spreading across the seafloor are truly breathtaking.

This is a dive site that completely changes the image of “Izu diving”, even for repeat divers from the Great Barrier Reef.

A: Day Trip

By train:
Arrive at Mishima Station at 7:20 (first Kodama Shinkansen)
Free transfer to the dive center (complimentary, no liability)

By car:
Meet at Tago Sealand Diving Service at 9:00

9:00 Paperwork, briefing, equipment setup

10:00 First dive

11:00 Surface interval (1 hour / lunch delivery from a local restaurant)

12:00 Second dive

13:00 Equipment wash, shower, change

14:00 Logbook session at a nearby café

17:00 Drop-off at Mishima Station

B: With Overnight Stay

Stay the night before at a hotel near Mishima Station (accommodation of your choice)

7:30 Depart Mishima

9:00 Paperwork, briefing, equipment setup at the dive center

10:00 First dive

11:00 Surface interval (1 hour / lunch delivery from a local restaurant)

12:00 Second dive

13:00 Equipment wash, shower, change

14:00 Logbook session at a nearby café

Return Travel Example

Kodama Shinkansen trains from Mishima Station depart every 30 minutes from 16:54.

If you would like to return as early as possible or enjoy sightseeing on the way back, we can adjust the plan—please consult us in advance.
Coordination with other guests may be required, so early inquiries are appreciated.
