A must-experience adventure
February–April 2026: Swim with sea lion pups
Australian sea lions give birth every 18 months, so their movements change each year.
Pups born in summer 2025 will return to the Jurien Bay colony with their mothers between February and April 2026—the best time to swim with them.
Important Notice
This is a special tour for returning &Ocean guests only.
First-time guests are asked to join a Japan tour or a regular Great Barrier Reef tour first.
Exceptions apply if introduced by an &Ocean repeat guest.

Arrive in Perth (e.g. ANA direct flight from Narita)
Meet in Perth / Overnight in Perth
Day 2
Morning: Kayak tour to nearby islands
(Feb tour: kayaking / Apr tour: 2 dives)
Afternoon: Fremantle Markets
Evening: Drive to Jurien Bay (3.5 hrs)
Overnight in Jurien Bay
Day 3
Morning: Sea lion swim (45-minute session)
Afternoon: Pinnacles Desert, sunset & stargazing
Overnight in Jurien Bay
Day 4
Morning: Sea lion swim (45-minute session)
Afternoon: Sand dunes
Evening: Return to Perth
Overnight in Perth
Day 5
Morning: Rottnest Island (quokka search)
18:00 Transfer to Perth Airport
Depart Perth on ANA direct flight to Narita
Notes
Arrival day is free time. Please make your own way to the hotel.
Sea lion swim sessions are limited to 45 minutes by government regulations.
Free showers are available at Perth Airport on the final day.

If you are unable to swim with sea lions during the early morning session, you may join the second morning session, subject to conditions.
For your safety, overseas travel insurance is mandatory to cover any accidents during the tour, including transportation.
Plans are available from various providers starting from around JPY 2,000 for a 6-day trip.

Your booking will be confirmed after payment is received.
Payment can be made by credit card (3% processing fee applies) or WISE transfer.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by the Guest
Up to 3 months before departure: A$200 cancellation fee
Up to 1 month before departure: 50% of the tour price
Less than 1 month before departure: 100% of the tour price
Please allow sufficient time in your travel schedule to avoid issues caused by flight delays or other disruptions.
Cancellations by the Operator (Weather or Sea Conditions)
Full refund or rescheduling
If possible, we may offer a transfer to an alternative tour
If Sea Lion Swim Is Cancelled After Arrival in Perth
(due to sudden weather changes, by operator decision)
If a swim session does not take place: A$165 refund per session
The program will be replaced with land-based sightseeing or alternative activities
Events Affecting All Participants
(e.g. flight cancellations or major disruptions)
We will make every effort to reschedule or adjust the itinerary.
Any unavoidable local cancellation costs will be shared among all participants based on actual expenses incurred.
