EASTCOAST DIVE TOUR
Brisbane Shark & Manta Dive Tour January 2026

As the ocean warms in the Australian summer, the south-central east coast comes alive with some of the country’s best diving.
Near Brisbane, giant manta rays gather around *Manta Island*, while at Wolf Rock, grey nurse sharks appear in impressive numbers.
&Ocean offers this special seasonal tour every year to experience both highlights in one trip.
---
### Manta Island (North Stradbroke Island)
Just off Brisbane, Manta Island is famous for close encounters with 3–4 meter manta rays gliding effortlessly beneath the boat.
Consistently ranked among Queensland’s top dive sites, it also offers sightings of guitar sharks, leopard sharks, and Queensland groupers.
Above water, pristine beaches, coastal walks, and frequent dolphin sightings complete the experience.
---
### Wolf Rock
Wolf Rock, off Rainbow Beach, is home to resident grey nurse sharks year-round.
January is peak season, when large numbers gather, offering powerful and unforgettable shark dives in deep blue water.
*Wolf Rock is a deep dive site. Nitrox certification is required.*
